I started photography around 30 years ago, and became interested in landscape photography after seeing the work of Derry Brabbs in “James Herriot’s Yorkshire”.
I live in Cumbria and take most of my photographs in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
In addition to Redbubble, I sell work through, PhotoBox, Zazzle, Greetings Card Universe, etc.
Superb use of foreground interest and colour, wonderful composition and exposure
Thanks for your comments David.

Lovely shot, the foreground colour amongst the bleakness of the rest of the shot make for a great highlight.
Thanks Andrew. Yes, it was a bit of a bleak day, so the lichen covered rock and the dead bracken came in handy!
Wonderful composition and views Dave, thanks for adding it to the Lakes group! I was up Sergeant Man on a day very similar to this over the winter!
Thanks Shaun. This was actually 2 or 3 years ago, just about when we started getting decent amounts of snow again!
I think this is my favourite,Dave. I just love photos that are almost monotonal, and you capture the Lakeland moods so well.
Thanks very much for your comments. They are much appreciated. :-)
Thanks very much for the feature! :-)
