A misty sunset of Kendal Castle, Cumbria. On a cold winters day, a temperature inversion had held the mist down in the town all day, and just started swirling round the castle at sunset.

I started photography around 30 years ago, and became interested in landscape photography after seeing the work of Derry Brabbs in “James Herriot’s Yorkshire”.
I live in Cumbria and take most of my photographs in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
In addition to Redbubble, I sell work through, PhotoBox, Zazzle, Greetings Card Universe, etc.
That was quick! You must have commented within a minute of my adding it.(Not that I’m complaining, thanks very much) :-)

Wonderful, Dave, expect to see Lancelot or Guenivere any minute now. Gotta love castles, I think I may have lived another life back then.
Cracking shot Dave
Thanks Duncan, much appreciated.
Stunning composition and capture!
A magical image, Dave. Very nice indeed :-)
Thanks Neil, much appreciated.
Excellent capture Dave, love that type of light to work in, your exposure is superb.
Thanks David. It’s good to be able to capture something that does the scene justice in fast moving conditions.
