Ullswater is in the Eastern part of the Lake District National Park in North-West England.

I started photography around 30 years ago, and became interested in landscape photography after seeing the work of Derry Brabbs in “James Herriot’s Yorkshire”.
I live in Cumbria and take most of my photographs in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

I recognised the area from the thumbnail image, a wonderful area for capturing the reflected light of a sunrise. Lovely composition and use of the foreground rocks.
