…a broken egg that has a black shell. Did the contents escape? Is it alive? I hope so. I’m intrigued and interested in who might have hatched while I wasn’t looking. Could it be a black baby dragonlet? It just might be!
Oh my my…what an art…i truely feel that sometimes creativity gets so intensed that its hard to believe it as an art than illusion….was looking at it for long long time…you truely posses imaginative expertise..
Thanks, Shree. It was just for fun…which is most of the stuff I show here.
Great study of shapes and tones. Minimalist but very effective.
Thank you, Suzanne. I guess I am often a minimalist. Even when it comes to shopping, come to think of it. Drives my mom nutz. Anyway, thank you for your appreciation.
Thanks, John. Actually, this “portfolio” isn’t even really a “taste” of my full body of work. I really should get more work uploaded. With the new collections asset from RedBubble, I’m more inclined to start working on it. Before it was so disorganized that it was disheartening for me. Thanks for commenting.
This immediately caught my eye when i was looking at your pictures! love the abstractness of it, and really liked your color choices.. EXCELLENT!! Is this an actual photo, or is it a photoshop creation?
Hi Barbara, Thanks for stopping by to look and comment. It’s one of my favorites and was done by utilizing a CD rendering of an ovoid sphere, fractured by a negative sawtoothed landform, then painted in Corel Paint. I finished it in photoshop, adding the background. There’s actually egg-shell-like pores in the egg’s surface I spent too many tedious hours with the Wacom creating using an actual eggshell sitting in front of me. I did this when I had more time in my life and happened to see an emu egg sitting cracked and broken at a friend’s barn.
