Stop The Gunning! Save Our Wolves! - white t-shirt

White T-Shirt only

100% of the prodeeds from this shirt go to Defenders of Wildlife to help stop the aerial gunning of wolves in Alaska, to push the PAW act through Congress, and to stop the removal of federal protections in states pushing for their removal: Idaho and Wyoming, with New Mexico already killing wolves under their 3 strikes rule.

This is my understanding of the issue.

ALASKA
Right now, the governor of Alaska, (SARAH PALIN) despite the dissent of a 66% majority of Alaska’s citizens, encourages and permits aerial gunning of wolves. The plan is eradication. Why? So big game hunters can have more moose and carribou to hunt, despite the fact that this kind of “management” is proven to be disastrous to moose and carribou populations. See the science. Stop the ugly killing. The citizens of Alaska don’t want it; Alaska’s hunters don’t want it. So who wants it? The big rich kid trophy hunters, that’s who, and they’re buying the government to get it. Support the PAW act. Get involved, and STOP THE KILLING.

IDAHO, WYOMING, NEW MEXICO
Idaho’s new governor, Butch “The Butcher” Otter brags that he’ll buy the first ticket to kill a wolf. His aim? Kill every last wolf in the state. Stop The Butcher NOW. And Wyoming is right on Idaho’s heels, wanting federal protections removed, as does New Mexico.

We just got them back, and now members of the legislatures and state houses in these states want to kill them all.

STOP THE GUNNING. SUPPORT THE PAW ACT.

eponavisions, please tell me that Colorado isn’t trying to go barbaric, too! Should Colorado be on that list? I live in Idaho, so I am mostly familiar with The Butcher’s aims.

We used to have wolves in England you know, I can see everywhere in the world will end up the same as us unless it can be stopped.
    Good on you Dawn.

I know. Are there any in Scotland still? I know Ireland shot all theirs. Are there still natives in preservation areas in England? Or are all natives extinct?

Thanks, Carmen. Let’s hope we’re successful. I’ve spent over a grand this month on this fight. It wears on the bank account quickly. It’s the advertising to get Joe Blow Public aware enough to put enough pressure on Congressmen who otherwise would just go along with the gunners.

We have a few here in Missouri the farmers hate them and animal lovers like myself want to see these animals survive.

I cannot figure out why some farmers are so intolerant of them. I farmed for years, and I never had a bit of problem with cayotes, cougars, wolves, or anything else. In fact, the cougar female would have her kits on the property, and never touched one chicken, duck or rabbit. Of course, I had good fences. My cattle and horses were never bothered, and neither were the goats or pigs. Makes no sense why anyone would object. They don’t attack animals unless those animals are weaker than they should be, and, let’s be honest, its their territory in open range. Of course, I’m against open range anyway. It’s not a place for cattle and sheep. It’s wildlife’s territory. I say, keep your fences in good order and a few good cattle dogs will serve your herds in pasture which should be your own property and properly fenced. Cows trained to come into loafing sheds at night are the proper solution, and it’s easy. (Yes, I’m a proponent of the small, free range, organic farmer, and an opponent to the megafarms.

We are trying to promote awareness and re-introduce wolves to the UK.

Let’s hope we can help stop that becoming a thing of the future for the USA.
