Something a bit different this time—one of my abstracts. Called Dreams, I’m working with the three primaries here, but abusing them terribly just because it felt good. Fun for me. Probably pure torture for the participant. ;)

Wow. Thanks. I figured my abstracts would turn everyone off. I’ve sold a lot of them, but usually to collectors who happen to like my particular style. I haven’t really ever put many of them out in the open waters. I do these when I wake up in the middle of the night out of one of them. The colors just flow. Sometimes I work on canvas or water color paper, but, these days, I tend to go to the Wacom instead because I don’t have to worry about the cats. :D

Wow. Thank you all. These are always a bit embarrassing for me because they “happen” when I’m so “in the raw and vulnerable”—just totally free of any thought of ART. I have a dream, get up and have to just “run color.” Thanks so much for letting me show some of my weirdness here without getting stomped.

Thanks, all. In response to Trace Lowe’s comment on the subtle circles, for me they represented the levels of consciousness and subconscious cognizance submerged within the dreamscape, exploring and experiencing. I know I consciously retain only a portion of my dreams, even when, upon waking immediately, excited by the visions and experiences, I go immediately to work putting them on canvas.

I wouldn’t call it torture, but it is a pleasent visual experience. There is good blends of colors and kind of misty smoky quality to it. If one looks hard one can almost see a lone tree at the edge of the cliff. I like it.

Thanks, all. (Laughing.) Eyal, when I said “probably pure torture for the participant,” I was speaking of the paint and e-canvas with my typical “strange humor.” I couldn’t even imagine what the bytes involved and being manipulated about were thinking as I created this in the middle of the night. So it’s my humor.

This dream seems to have a nightmareish vibe, not being rude, I love it.
I can see a dark figure trying to creep into the bright colours of my normal dream.
