N. Idaho looks like this on cold mornings on the lake when we have the weather go from warm to icy in the spring. The light turns everything blue because a big storm’s pending. The world is absolutely silent. Traffic sounds become muffled and faint, sounding as if far, far away down a long tube. There’s this steam that comes off the water. Everything except the shoreline, the sun and the mist disappears along with the sound.

I am sure I have seen this before and I think it pure brilliance!

Thanks, shanghaiwu. Funny thing is a lot of people don’t like this and other work of mine because the colors are monochromatic and muted. Glad you like it.

Well, some say we live in Paradise, and the cost is enormous, however, in the last decade, Paradise has become Realtor/Developer extravaganza, so….the lake and river no longer look like this when it’s misty, no. It used to. I’m not particularly putting in the hills and mountains, because, often, they are unseeable with the mists from the temperature changes we get, night to day.
