I really like this Dawn! This has a strong sense of curiosity to it!

Thanks, Dave. Curiosity is an interpretation that is welcome. Thanks for the perspective.

I’ve been pondering these works all day Dawn. My deliberations were about discovering a favourite. I have made a few favourite here at RB, but I pick this as my #1.
Here you have pushed the elements of recognition right to the cusp between understanding and confusion. Seeing this in the context of the other images it is difficult to know if my recognition of subject would have occurred had the image been seen alone.
Personally I think it would have been a 50:50 chance. And that’s exactly why it is my #1.

Dave, I want to quote your comment. I love it. I love what you’ve expressed about this image, because it is for me more a feeling than a “landscape” I was painting…as I am wont, of course, but this is about a disconsolate termination smoldering at the culmination of its event horizon. Make sense?

Thank you. This one is one of my own favorites…along with The Highest Snag.

I love it Dawn…I feel as though I’ve just passed through, and this is what I see behind me…....my past, the lines of times gone by…...........getting harder to recognize as I move on to a new phase of cosmic awareness.
