Haha. Ah…try “Moss Agate” and North Idaho— tamarack (western larch) and cedar forest, way too big to hug, and 150 feet tall +, growing since the 1910 fire, so almost a century old trees. Not old growth, but second growth. The old growth stumps remaindered from the fire are still in the forest, some of the trees growing right up through their hollow centers.

As ONE of the WoodELF clan, I love this. So mystical. :-)

Ahah. Well, I’m an old woodsey, so we’re in good company. This is actually a painting of my forest. Really.

I bow down before you, Lady Galadriel of Lothlorin. ;-)

This series would make a great calendar.
DLKeur replied
I’m doing it as a calendar this year. Last year was the Seasons of the Sun, this year is The Trees. :D ...Great minds….

Very well done and looks fantastic..
DLKeur replied
Thanks, velveteagle. This one is problematic. I’m working on getting the original file back.
