great honest profile David. i love your eye for detail, most people would walk past or ontop of this scene. it’s incredible how having a camera on you (us) heightens our ability to really SEE. fantastic image, amazing colours and textures, it reminds me of granite stone.

You are very kind Janine. Am glad you appreciated the honesty. It was the only approach I could take. I’m glad to you like the image and just hope that others can realize that beauty is all around them, you just have to open your eyes or the shutter in this case :)

Ok, ‘beautiful’ is not enough! There is something very touching about this one. The delicate footprints of a small bird in big world, the imprint of a small ‘insignificant’ creature here captured for ever, a kind of immortality if you will. I dunno if I can really put my finger on it but I just find this image quite moving!

HEy there…i just love this. Have you heard of the Jesus’s footprinnts on the sand poem?(if you don’t you may like to read it. it’s short, Google it. This could very possibly have a story or a poem attatched to it involving this bird and some relation to the original thought poem. ....sorry just thinking out loud. Any how I just love it. bravo.!
