Photography is a combination of documentation and expression. For David Librach it is a tool to capture the simple, quiet moments – a life journal of sorts.

“Art is a window to the soul,” he says. “It gives you a chance to gain insight into the soul of the creator, subject and even the viewer.”

In a world filled with visual cacophony, David pays acute attention to detail. Every texture, shape and colour conveys meaning. He closely examines the relationship between the natural and concrete world.

Based in Canada in Halifax, Nova Scotia, his work reflects a soulful journey, both internal and external.
