Deborah Lazarus is a digital artist living in the Macon, Georgia (USA) area. About 10 years ago she became legally blind due to Diabetic Retinopathy. It was after that time that she became involved with digital art. By trial and error and many hours in front of the keyboard, she developed her own techniques. And she encourages anyone with vision problems to do the same. She believes that art soothes, and heals. And that it is good for the soul. Deborah hosts “Original Entities” , “GEMS” “Criminal Minds” , and “Peace, Love, &Tranquility” on Redbubble. She is, also, an advocate for the American Diabetes Association for the state of Georgia. In that capacity she represents Georgia and is a voice for the diabetic community with respect to prospective laws and legislation that concerns it. Deborah has been a speaker before such groups as the State of Georgia Lion’s Club organization’s annual conference, and Macon State College behalf of The Georgia Lighthouse Foundation. Other than that, she enjoys country life with her husband and their 3 dogs, Buddy, Pepper, and Katie. She is excited about this community and hope that you will enjoy her sharing her art with you. Also, she looks forward to viewing the art that this community has to offer. Please feel free to submit your art to “Original Entities”, “GEMS”, “Criminal Minds”, and “Peace, Love, & Tranquility”.

Since Milledgevi…

The Rumor About Redbubble Being Sold

One of the artists on this site says that she has it on good authority that redbubble has been sold. She says that it is sinking and that artists are leaving in droves. Reality check time……an art site is only as good as the artists themselves make it. It does not really matter who owns the site Art is what makes the site and I see no lack of it on here. My groups are picking up n…

Gays, Politics, and Religion

I feel that gays should have the right to marry, adopt chiildren, visit their partners in the hospital, be on insurance policies together, participate in scouts, and do every other damned thing that is afforded a straight person under the law. When is society going to come …

The "Play Nice" Policy Should Not Be A Novel Concept

I do hope that most of you know that redbubble has a “play nice” policy in place. I truly believe that you do since by and large most of us do our darnest to be “politically correct”. For those of you who pride yourselves on being politically correct, you need not read any further. Now for the stinkers in the crowd who delight in pushing buttons…..I have a few cho…
