Is My Hallucination Gettin' To Ya? by

Digital art that should be pretty damned self explanatory to anyone who has lived through the sixties and is honest enough to tell about it. It is also dedicated to those brave souls who have never quite given up on paying daily homage to the almighty weed. I can just about tell by your art which ones of you fall into that later category. In any event, when all is said and done….“all hail to Rock n Roll” and its queen, Janis Joplin.

My works are created by interchanging and moving back and forth between MGI Photosuite 4, Corel, Seriff, and Photoshop. I do not use clip art, or boxed canned programs in the creation of my art. They are products of my own imagination and not the duplication of art pre-engineered by a program graphic designer. My skills alone give birth to my work. My works are “my children”. They are inspired by life that surrounds me and moves me. I hope you will like them, too, but if they do not please anyone else at least I know that I created them for me and by myself.

Hey Deb great creation very much in the 60`s and lots of bright happy colors and designs. Yes there is a lot to be said of the colors and detail that is used to describe the Janis Joplin times and what they did for us in the years to come. Very creative and inventive too. You know who we are :)

  • Yep, I can spot the tuned in, turned on crowd a mile away…even on the internet!! Thanks so much, Bobbi!!!!!

  • LOL I think that is a senior moment with a temporary drop in oxygen that you are talking about, Roy!!! LOL I have them, too!! And they are not ‘flash backs’. Thanks!!

Gorgeous!!! A hallucination possibly but my first thought was a totem pole : )

  • Wow!!! You are right!!! It is amazing how many Native American images just materialize in my work. It is not intentional either. Thanks, Ann.
