Digital art inspired by Rod’s Stewart’s version of the song, “The First Cut Is The Deepest”. That song speaks to the hurt or pain inflicted upon you that never goes away. It could be a lost love, a split from a family member, or even a friend that has let you down in some way. In any event, we all have wounds that will never heal. They may be just below the surface, but they are always there and always will be. But we all manage to live with those wounds in one way or another.

Created in MGI Photosuite 4 and edited in Photoshop. This is not an out of the box or canned program. This design was created entirely by myself.
