Artist's Description

This is just one of the many 1964 Vogue “Littlest Angel” dolls that I have in my very large doll collection. I have these Angels in all kinds of hair styles and eye colors. Made by Vogue Dolls until 1966, the 1964 versions are jointed and all vinyl, standing 11 inches tall. She is wearing the 1950’s infamous “Poodle Skirt”, a white lace ruffled blouse, and the had to have pink neck scarf of the day. When the Poodle skirt first came out, I was only 3 or 4 years old and even I had one!! And I had my own baby size black and white saddle oxfords and bobby socks to go with it. Unwittingly, my Mother made me a rock n roller before I even went to school. Something that in later years she would seriously regret!! And when Elvis came out in 1956, there was definitely NO turning back!!
