Where The Bullet And The Wind Shield Meet by

Digital art inspired by a drive by shooting. Don’t think it could not happen to you. It happened to my cousin as he was taking his young son to the movies. It’s a jungle out there. Charles, this one is for you, my Cuz. When I see you again, I know you will have a big hug, and a bottle of Jack waiting for me. Otherwise, it would not be heaven.

Created in MGI Photosuite4 and Photoshop.

Your work has been accepted in Gems Gone Unnoticed. :) Deb, I shouldn’t be worried about you, right??? Actually love the red in the center:)

  • LOL I don;‘t think so. It is just an artistic statement. That’s all. Before I get ready to jump off the roof of a tall building, I will give you a call and find you another cohost. LOL

Hi Deb yes this is going around as people seem to be very unhappy and push it on others to feel their pain. I hope all is well with your life and things are getting better each day. This creation is very creative and artistic with a lot of meaning in it. I`m sorry about your cousin Charles. Love n Big Hugs Bobbi

  • I am feeling better each day!! Charles was my favorite cousin. He was a very cool guy. The early pictures of the Beatles in their leather jackets reminds me of him. He looked very much like an early John Lennon. Thanks for the comment. No worries. All is well here.

You have managed to turn an ugly incident into a beautiful picture! Thank God your cousin and his young son survived! I hope that the police caught the rotters and threw the book at them.

  • They were nver caught. Sadly, my cousin died 4 years later as a result of complications of his injuries and diabetes. But I am confident that he and I will meet up again. We were so close as children and even as adults. A love like that never ends. Thanks for your comment. Greatly appreciated.

I know what you feel Deb, I lost my cousin this year on cancer. I was inspired with a photo of a rose and a poem, that I dedicated to her.I believe the best way to work on such sadness is putting it into a painting or photo or poem or what ever. But as you say, it wouldn’t be heaven…….thinking of you, Heidi

  • Thank you, Heidi. Your kind words are much appreciated. So sorry about your cousin, too. Funny how the holidays always seem to make memories to come flooding back. Sometimes the tidal wave just gets to be too much.
