Lonely and afraid,
You’re thinking of the hurt and all the pain,
Your mind is full of fears
And as you wipe away the tears,
You recall those lost and empty wasted years.
You feel that no one cares
If you live or if you die.
And so you sit alone in misery.
You bow your head and cry,
And you ask the questions why?
How can anybody know the way I feel?
But you’re a very special person,
And I care for you,
I want to be a part of everything you do,
I want to take your burdens
And I long to set you free.
My heart is really aching for you to turn to me.
I wish that you could understand,
I know the way you feel,
But I can’t help you if you think that I’m not real.
I gave my life to save you
Two thousand years ago.
It hurts when you reject me
More than you’ll ever know.
You are a very special person,
And I care for you,
I want to be a part of everything you do,
I want to take your burdens
And I long to set you free.
My heart is really aching for you to turn to me.
So come to me, I love you,
And I’ll set you free,
I will take your burdens,
I wish that you could see,
I will never leave you,
I want to be your Friend.
I’ll give you all you’ll ever need,
On me you can depend.

This poem really speaks to my heart it describes how I have felt in the past and how I sometimes feel now and it has done me good to hear that I am a special person and that
God cares for me and wants to take my burdens and set me free. I have forgotten about this it is though God is speaking to me through this poem. No it is not as though he is speaking to me, He is speaking to me. Thanks for that encouragement

I assure you you are precious and special. He is always there for you even when you don’t feel He is, trust in His Word that He has promised never to leave you and will be with you always to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

Something weird going on today… every work I click on keeps leading me to this message. I looked at a horse and rainbow and there He was. I looked for Algonquin and found this…so here He is again. I swear I’m not TRYING to find messages from God. I just wanted to enjoy some beautiful art. And everywhere I turn today… I run smack into Him. These words make me feel ‘cornered’ but… maybe its time.
