quick update…
I just got back from the show where i found out that i got one blue ribbon and one red ribbon in the photo competition.
Granted, there weren’t a lot of photos on display, but I’m chuffed anyhow.
I also realised I should have entered in the amateur category rather than the open section as i think i could have done better in that category hahaha…
The Red Ribbon went to this image in the “rural australia” category (thanks Mike!!!)
The Blue Ribbon went to this photo in the “Animal” category, this one really makes me happy, full manual lens, manual aperture, shutter speed and focus wooo me!

excellent… well done. I am heading to teh show today, so i will be sure to check them out. I forgot about the show this year until I noticed all the carnies EVERYWHERE!

haha yeah, i almost forgot, we usually head off over the long weekend, always thought it was a friday-saturday gig, but this year the thursday friday surprised me.
