Artist's Description

A winter night scene of Historic Moravian buildings on Church St. in Bethlehem Pa, also known as Christmas city USA

Brethren’s House was used as a hospital and a place to entertain George Washington during the revolution in 1782. It is also said to be the home of a ghost of a contemporary nurse.
(An interesting note about this image, the large tree 1/3 from the left was actually around in George Washington’s time. Unfortunately, since this image was captured, the tree had to be taken down due to deterioration.)
