    What is this “Golden Ground for Pastels” that you are preparing your paper with and what is the effect? Your work is beautiful. I am a self taught artist and am always on the lookout for material techniques. Thanks.

  • Sienna I have bubble mailed you – certainly in America Wallis pastel paper ( the white one) is brilliant for charcoal -though you might want a layer of gesso to kill the tooth a bit…
