Colours

Colours of

Colours of words I write,
clear drops from striking light,
weather storm in black and white
clouds of gray streaking light,
black all through the darkest night.
colours through everyday life

New beginning of a golden start,
violets of your blood red heart,
pale blue of a rapid stream,
ocean of coral bottom sea green,
soft white cotton clouds of sky blue,
colours of through and through.

Mineral of your copper soul,
glitters your heart of gold,
bright yellow you shy away,
burnt orange of morning ray,
colours of a sunshiny day.

Beautiful birds flamingo pink,
silver of love has fifty links,
everything seems back in zinc,
blue, hazel eyes that blink,
colours of what we think.

Our beauty of pure love is white,
brightest red luck of life.
Monarch butterfly in flight,
yellow, orange, black and spotted white.
Autumn red, gold orange and light blue,
colours of true I love you.
