Photographed this between Cub lake and The Pool in Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Colorado. This Rosa woodii belongs to the rose family. The Wild Rose season is June to August in a habitat of plains to subalpine. Commonly found in open dry areas, hillsides, fields, roadsides and meadows.
