I am still finding my place in the photography world. I have worked for a couple of different companies discovering new techniques and styles of photography. I can’t really say what style I like best. Once I think I found my niche I discover a new way to do things. Currently my fascinating discovery is a light meter. They really do make exposures so much easier (yes you can laugh at that).

I have returned to the classroom to discover more technical aspects of photography. After so many years thinking I knew what the heck I was doing, I found that I barely scratched the surface of what is possible.

My biggest challenge to myself is to go outside my comfort zone of shooting what I know. My goal is to share a story without words. Whether it is with one photo or a series, I just love to take pictures.

Recently I have discovered the abstract world of color metaphor and closeup photography. Really enjoying a new viewpoint in what a camera can do in this arena.
