Audubon’s Warbler is the western form of the yellow-rumped warbler. Having a yellow throat an no mask.

Myrtle’s Warbler is the eastern form of the same bird having a white throat and eye crescents.

This versatile warbler forages from farm feilds up to tree-tops. Darting from tree to tree among branches looking for insects and berries; sallies from treetops to catch insects on the fly.

Females lays four ro five spotted white eggs in a bulky nest of twigs,roots, and grass lined with hair and feathers.

Song is variable slow warble that rises or falls toward the end. Call is a loud, oft-repeated chip or chep.
