Northern Mockingbird

Northern mockingbirds is know for it’s nocturnal serenades as well as its habit of attacking people and pets in its territory. They inhabit open lowland area from deserts to rangeland and can also be common in cities. Foraging birds flash white primary bases to startle insect prey.

A widespread mimic, the northern Mockingbird learns as many as 200 songs and calls of other species.
