Lawrence’s Goldfinch

This goldfinch is an endemic nester in arid woodland, chaparral and brushy areas of nothern Baja California and California’s foothills and valleys. During the non-breeding months (August -March) sizable flocks can be found in foothills and deserts of the Southwest. This species is regularly found around seeps, springs and cattle troughs as well as any water source in arid areas.

Voice Song is a hurried set of warbles notes, mostly imitations of other birds. Calls include an inquisite doo-ler: flight call an endearing tink-oo.

My goal is to get my name out there among the vast ocean of Natural photographers. To be known for my skill with a Point & Shoot~

My images are not photo shopped. They have only been adjusted with basic sharpening, contrasting & saturation techniques. I believe that in order to appreciate Nature, you have to capture it as it is, naturally.
