Throughout the West and Midwest, Brewers’s blackbirds are seen strutting through farm fields and feedlots, eating waste grain and insects. This highly adaptable species visits almost any open to semi-open habitat from parking lots, picnic grounds, rest stops to meadows. In Atlantic coastal states, flocks of several dozen can be seen gathered around local cattle or horse farms.
