Red-tailed Hawk vs. American Kestrel by

An American Kestrel defending his territory from a Red-tailed Hawk. I was on a little jaunt on my way home and pulled over to capture the red-tail. To my surprise the Kestrel was diving him left and right! It was an interesting display of territory dispute.

This is what I call a Shutter Luck shot for me….

Taken in Marana, Arizona using a Canon Powershot SX40HS

My goal is to get my name out there among the vast ocean of Natural photographers. To be known for my skill with a Point & Shoot~

My images are not photo shopped. They have only been adjusted with basic sharpening, contrasting & saturation techniques. I believe that in order to appreciate Nature, you have to capture it as it is, naturally.
