Water colour with a tad of pencil

This portrait is of my colleague who is leaving for another job soon. I’m going to give him the original for a gift and hope he isn’t insulted by it. Shhhh!

It’s been a joy to work with David and my other team member, Linda. It’s a rare thing to work with people who are all on the same track. His brilliance and creativity will be sorely missed.

You never leave someone behind, you take a part of them with you and leave a part of yourself behind.

Very nice portrait – his eyes and smile tells much about his character. Having made his portrait it is a great gesture of appreciation, and I am sure he will very touched.

  • Thanks Mary, it’s always a bit scary doing a portrait for someone!
