In a bubble by Jenny Wood

Available to buy on…

Last week I was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer. This is how it felt for the first 2 days after the diagnosis.
I’m in attack mode now. I’m gunna kick it’s butt!! However I’ll never forget the feeling and how I swung in my hammock for 2 days cocooned in it’s warmth and security.

Mixed media. Ink, pencil and watercolour.

I’m silently cheering you on Jenny! This is a wonderful and powerful illustration … the figure in a place of protection adjusting and gathering forces together, with a look of determination.

  • Thanks Alison your cheering is felt;) I’m glad you understand the feeling behind it.
