It Takes Time
I have spent quite some time over the last couple of weeks sorting, resorting and polishing my RB gallery. I’ve removed about 30 images all up and added larger files to the rest of them so that they can actually be sold rather than just looked at.
I suppose I’m about a light year behind the rest of the RB community in the fact that the bubblesites have been available now for quite some time and a lot of you just jumped right onto the task of creating your own online stores. Me, well I didn’t really see the point of it… I had my website and I was happy with the world.
Recently though, my website has undergone a big upgrade and redesign and as a result I made it more commercially targeted… the only thing missing was an way of selling my images online without actually looking as though I was sending my customers to another site. This is where I have finally found a use for creating my own bubblesite.
All of the tweaking, additions and sorting has not only been done out of boredom but out of a need to have things just the way I like them for my clients to see… hopefully it will work out well but only time will tell.
As a side note… I am holding a stall at a trade show here in Melbourne very soon and I hope to be leading a lot of traffic to my bubble store. This of course will not only be good for myself (hopefully) but also for RB and it’s community as well.
So for now, you are all invited to have a look at both my website and bubblesite. While they are not currently connected to each other, there is still a little work for me to do before that happens but they are there all the same and I’d love to know what you think.
Cheers,
Matt
