Despite the experiences that write the story of my life,
I am merely a collection of pages
Written on blank, plain, white sheets of paper.

Blank.
Pages added up to a large sum—
Nothing.

Plain.
Nothing exciting or spectacular—
Simply ordinary.

White.
Though blank and plain,
I am a colorful character—
The combination of all colors.
Though simply ordinary,
I am complex and unique—
An open book who is hard to read.
The story of my life is much the same as many are—
Different.

Though I’ll never be published in the public eye,
I’ll be quite the story when I’m gone—a story
Written on blank, plain, white sheets of paper.
