Perhaps there are many pieces missing in my puzzle.
But there’s only one missing piece that I care about.
It’s a piece that can fill both the heart and soul.
It can fill the mind with many memories
Which create a cause for one to daydream
While breathing out those light lovely sighs.

I do this once in a while
When I remember
When someone
Has touched
My heart.
But this is short-lasted.

I do this once in a while
Because I long
For a love
That will last.

Even though my memories are real,
The whole thing seems artificial.
Even though I’ve found a substitute piece,
I’m still searching for that piece to fill the hole.
Even though the substitute piece fills the hole,
I can’t alleviate the emptiness this hole has created
Until I find this piece to the puzzle.

But for now, I’m puzzled.
If I can only know what this kind of love is,
And how to express this love in that way,
Then maybe we’d find this piece
To permanently touch our hearts and souls,
And help each other find other pieces missing in our puzzle.

But for now, I’m puzzled.
These artificial, light, lovely sighs
Cover up my real, deep, saddened sighs.
