After carving a blood-rushing crevice into the dying flesh,He proceeds to bang a gushing hole into the porous templeOf one whom he tightens a life-flushing noose around the strangled neck.He fought to death to keep her suffering alive.
so shakespeare….luv it Romeo!!! (lol)
Y’know…I’ve never actually read much Shakespeare after HS, lol.
But the fire between the lovers (esp. w/in HIM) got caught between the star-crossed hairs standing on end.
Wow…very deep Russ and soo true in a metaphoric sense of many relationships….again excellent writing:)
Unfortunately, in my case…it was also a very “LITERAL” event that I imagined that happened between my best friend & the ex of hers that killed her (except that she actually died in the hospital due to “massive internal bleeding”). The same boyfriend that raped & took Mary’s life (That was my best friend’s actual first name.) on “her last Valentine’s” in the Dawn poem I recently posted that you so dearly loved all the emotion of. Depressing, grief-filled, & tormenting sources of inspiration I draw from my affected soul for these darkly painfully powerful writes of mine, huh? Valentine’s Day has understandably become my least favorite holiday of the year after that happened.
Oh wow, that is so sad and horrible, I had know idea I really thought is was metaphors…I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend and the tragic way she died…
