Photography is a way of life for me. I always have a camera (or two) with me and you can find me studying an object or situation. I shoot film and digital…rangefinders and SLRs…35mm, digital and medium format. I think of the medium as a way to facilitate expression. I enjoy writing some poetry, some prose and a blog entry now and again.

I love shooting children and abstracts. I am enthralled with dance as a photographic subject as well as a motion study. I also really enjoy shooting the simple elegant form of flowers.

As you can see I love shooting black and white – digital or film. Something magical about the image appeals to me. But I know that color has its place.
