This is the Ferry that use to run across the Mississippi River from St.Francisville, LA to New Roads, LA. It was recently shut down due to the opening of The Audubon Bridge that now crosses the river and connects these two cities. The Audubon is the longest cable stayed bridge in the western hemisphere, yet somehow I still find the ferry more impressive…call me nostalgic!!
