"A millions' slaughter" 1986-02-21

Haunting crowd scenes
Of political insurrection
The most climactic event
Since that fateful resurrection

Each word that flows
Seems to higher fever pitch
Concealed from security
I’ve got a nervous itch.

Though one in a soup of bodies
I hold the final card
Revolution’s fate is in my hand
Passing it up wouldn’t be 2 hard

As I pull the trigger
And bring life to the end
I think of the vigour
Of a leader round the bend.

He holds millions’ hearts
In the palm of his hand
If the war starts
It’s for selfish sun & sand.

Down the platform he falls;
The dying words he calls.
With the crowd I mingle
Guards pass, hairs tingle

So which is better?
One man’s murder
Or a millions’ slaughter?
