Magical capture and image, Maggie – fabulous shot !!

  • thanks so much – a really amazing place – funny thing is the clouds have their own level and above that are 8 ginormous telescopes (one the biggest in the world) as they have 350 clear cloudless nights a year!

    cheers for your lovely visit

Great shot, Maggie… were you climbing???

  • hi sue – thanks and not quite climbing – teetering on the edge hanging on white knuckled to my sticks rather… it’s twice the height of ben nevis so we’d had a bit of help from a bus round many hairpins on the way up thankfully! an amazing island to walk on tho with strings of volcanoes to negotiate.. this was taken at the big one a crater 6km across but with huge drops!

cheers and hoping all is great with you
