I wasn’t sure what this lovely bloom was called… taken hurriedly the end of a macro class in the royal botanic gardens in Edinburgh during a lull in the spring breeze…
But now I gather it goes by the quite delightful names of prairie crocus, wind flower, Easter Flower, or meadow anemone. Thanks to my friends naturelover and enchantedImages for helping me work this out!
