On a bubblebreak just now but popping in (with squelching dinghyboots) to peek occasionally…
I’m just sorry i cant comment more and really appreciate my wonderful cohosts’ brilliant work in the shots in the fog and Benches groups during my leave of absence!! Huge thanks to the wonderfully talented chris . peter and tanya

I’ve been fiddling about with the new macro lens and thought i’d share this lovely poppy seed head… tho still need to go back to the wonderful classes in the autumn (at Edinburgh’s botanic gardens) to get my head round the tricksiness of these closeups.. soo hard to get..LOL!!

Can’t wait to catch up with you all in the autumn..

Very nice macro work Maggie! Love your choice of dof and the way it has popped forward the wonderful purplish textured flower seed center and the stamens! Lovely soft contrasting yet complimentary green background too! : )

Very very nice Maggie. Its funny how we look at things so differently when we start to take photos. Normally you wouldnt give a dead poppy a second glance. xxx

  • so agree with you – and the macro lens brings a whole new dimension to it..
