Lovely! Background is superb as tht one tiny burst of lilac adds some much contrast to the whole image! Excellent composition! Wonderful treatment as it is very difficult to detect!
thanks joanne really heartening to hear … I’d worried the lilac would have been too distracting so darkened it a tad.. and think i found a great subtle texture to start on… lichen on a flat rock face with really natural rusts and greens..

Great comp’. Looks like they’re growing as we speak! Nice bright, crisp lighting. I’m not really into flower pictures, but I really like this!
