A first macro on a borrowed Nikon coolpix 4800 compact and the step up in quality from my usual Fuji Finepix A500 shows! (I was never able to give it back and came to an amicable arrangement…lol…) Taken on macro setting with selftimer and using a pocket sized 4" tripod..

Straight from the camera apart from slight cropping and a great reminder of the swathes of these beautiful flowers
