this is just magical ~ one of the most beautiful misty landscapes I’ve seen ~ the whole series belongs on the wall ~ is the grasses really that blue green? and the reflection is just such a compliment to the gauzy misty ~ just stunning ~ a fav for sure!

Miss Sailorette~ This is so different than anything I have seen in a long while..There is something really special about it for me! And I must commend you for your dedication. It is obvious that you are shooting this from way up atop a mountain, yet the water is far below. It must be extremely difficult for you to be dragging your dinghy around in such high altitudes, and where ever you go. Incredible!

I used to live in a place (Cape Verde, Africa) where you had to climb up into the mountains everyday and when you reached the top you looked over the top of clouds and the ocean. I have ever since had a love of clouds. This picture captures just such moments that I love.

THis is a beautiful landscape composition. I really like the contrast where there is a little light on the other side of the lake beginning to appear through the mist. It is also very interesting to see how different this same scene looks during different times of the day. Outstanding.

Lovely dinghysailor. It looks even better with the top cropped off just below the top of the mist.

Try cropping the bottom as well and see what a great panorama it makes! Sometimes less is more :-)

The soft colours in your dawn mist series are great and I just love the gorse in the foreground. We never see shades like that in Far North Queensland. Also really taken with treelight, the cloud/mist coming off the water is beautiful.

I prefer this image to the the ‘colorized’ one in the challenge. It is still ‘rich’ in color and mood, yet in this digital/photo-shop age I look for some aspect of ‘reality’ to images that ‘naturally’ draw me into them.
