    thanks capn that’s what made if for me too.. theres a fenced kiddies playpark just behind and shadows from those railings add a bit i think..

    Love the lines in this shot they direct the eye to the distant tower.and back again….wonderful!
    May I ask, also; in my neck of the woods, benches often have small plaques dedicated to loved ones who have passed or marking a special moment shared at that spot. Is this done in Scotland also??? Any stories of time spent on that bench???

    thanks della for your lovely comments and like you i love benches.. yes there’s one in a fave spot further up the river dedicated to a friend but I’ve been trying for ages and ages to get the lighting right… I had it once but sods law also got the dogs backend too !! here’s hoping…one day……. ;)))
