teehee… not this time it didnt – I took this at 3.30pm after a full days wintry sun and everything was still frozen hard – a real treat to be crunching through….!

Not quite the same as my sheep but a nice image. Instead of exposure comp you can always try setting the exposure in manual so that the graphical display in the viewfinder is 1 bar into the + side. That works well on Nikons in the snow and frost. Did you use a polariser?

Thanks for the tips Mark I’ll give them a go!! and no – havent mastered the polariser yet… On hol it just looked too dark …tho I must admit I did wish it was in my bag to give it another try in the frost and sun – next time i’ll be ready!! what settings did you use for yours?
