fantastic capture Maggie! excellent composition and stunning perspective!

The cool blue of the sky is enough to make you feel chilly, let alone the frostiness of everything. Nice depth and I love the soft focus of the background and the bright crispness of the wall and fence. The capture of the ice on the barbed wire is superb.

The shallow depth of field works well to keep the eye of the viewer on that very frosty post, it all looks so cold Maggie, don’t know if I could get used to that again after all these years down south,

This beautiful shot makes me homesick for cold climates. The rime of ice on the wire is amazing, I can imagine the frosty grass crunching underfoot and my toes freezing in my gumboots. I am adding this to my favourites and email it to another Tropically residing ex kiwi.
