sheep can swim....

I still have to look so carefully to work out just where the wooden fenceposts stop and the reflections begin…

This fencing goes out into the beautiful St Mary’s loch in the scottish borders to mark the boundaries of the thriving sailing club there and to keep the sheep safely in the adjoining fields

The loch is three miles long by half a mile wide, set in spectacular surroundings in the middle of the Southern Uplands about 50 miles south of Edinburgh. To preserve the peace and tranquility, only sailing boats use it, apart from the a few small fishing craft and the club rescue boats.

It is much bigger and deeper than the nearby loch of the lowes

Taken 27/4/08 (untouched)

ps warning to sheep :please don’t try this at home…wet wool weighs!

how totally beautiful and surreal this image is….I feel that when I meditate, I can get myself there..how lovely that will be..grazing in the grass with all those sheep..reflecting water so clear and inviting ….I’ll take a swim too….feed the fish that will gather…I could go on and on as I meditate on this one…magical
