I am a self taught artist, Minneapolis born and bred, inspired by family, friends, good music, fashion photography, yoga, and the mesmerizing pull of applying acrylic paint to an empty canvas.
My painting style is expressive, whimsical, romantic and usually overtly feminine in subject. I paint best while listening to my favorite music, resulting in a painting style that is layered, loose, and heavily textured.
I am a member of NEMAA (Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association), which has been an important support organization for keeping the northeast Minneapolis art scene alive and kicking.
