Shadow lost the fight today
He was killed by an as-of-yet unknown lowlife scum.
Senseless violence towards animals is WRONG
There needs to be zero tolerance of this sort of thing.
He was a beautiful cat full of life, full of love
How anyone could hurt him is beyond my comprehension
RIP Shadow.

An appropriate memorial to Shadow. Are you sure it was a human who killed him Jodi? I don’t like to think that humans can be so cruel. Could he not maybe have been hit accidentally by a car? It’s bad enough to lose a loved pet, but to know some low-life is still at large …

Do you honestly think i would even suggest a thing if it were not what happened. because i wouldnt if i werent sure on it.
look, I’ve had a lot of pets, and been around lots of pets… i know what animals look like when hit by cars
and i know what animals look like when they’ve been tortured and injured.. his injuries were not one, but many, and they didnt look/feel like they had been done all at once, like how a car would of… and the trail he left comes from the neighbours yards, not the road. there are many things that point to this attack being human. like his good road sense, and the fact he is huge and candefend himself against staffys well and proper… the only thing that could of gotten close enought o do this is a person. or people.
the town is full of tourists att he moment too.. all these otherwise empty houses are filled with arrogant peope.. and they are arrogant, they are rude, unfriendly, and have no qualms about damaging your property, or you…
and i dont want to sound harsh, but of course humans can be so cruel, the evidence is all around us every day.
dave, we had lowlifes jump our back fence and stab our pet chooks with sticks, left them hanging on our clothesline… now thats fuhked up and cruel. and it happened, i was just a child at the time of that one… my good friend tan had her pet goat slaughtered in her back yard while she was at work, i have seen people pick up defenseless kittens and throw them hard at the wall.. that particualr time i ended up with a bloodied face because i intervened,
but i got the kittens out of there, and they went to a good home…and another enemy made… i dont care how good a “friend” someone is if i see/hear of them abusing an animal friendship over.
its been a hard day.. zaffy is also sick and i feel like shite too…
I miss him so much, i was looking for him earlier without realising it.
As far as whoever did this being at large.. time will tell, i will find out who.

I have zero tolerance for cruelty to Animals, they are so innocent.
This is so sad dimarie – my cat Coco narrowly escaped death a couple of years ago when he returned home after being missing for hours with his head and eye swollen beyond recognition, his toe missing and his jaw broken and I had to feed him through a tube for 2 weeks. I like to think it was a car accident because even though the driver must have known and did nothing, which disgusts me, this is better than the alternative which is that someone took a dislike to him. and hurt him deliberately. Coco has never regained the sight in his eye and his jaw is permanently mistaken but he has now recovered physically although I don’t think he will ever recover emotionally. Once he had recovered I sent him to live with my mum in the country as I couldn’t bear the thought of anything happening to him again. He has Fergie and Harry our other cats to keep him company and is as happy as he can be now.
My heart goes out to Shadow and to you as I know how much it must be hurting. I hope the shit that did this gets his comeuppance soon.
