A lovely etching plate, dimarie! Gives me a real feel of Autumn. The “border” with the lines and leaves is very interesting – the lines are like the wind to me, with the leaves blowing around. I like the way the rectangle with the tree isn’t symetrical, as it adds to that feeling of swaying and movement all around.

I was trying to go for that windy feel… the day I did it, it was typical victorian weather, windy and cold and the trees were thrashing around outside and I was inspired… so I’m rapt that others can feel that ‘vibe’ to it! thanx again!

yea, I did this about 5 or 6 years ago, when i did a printmaking class, I have some others from the same class, but they have subject matter that I’m in doubt about with copyright, so, when in doubt, leave em out as they say :) but yea, I have always liked this one myself, wasnt so sure that so many others would like it tho, been a bit blown away that it has had such good feedback…
